In a nutshell: The Diabetes Outcomes Versus Expenditure (DOVE) tool has been updated to provide data for 2011-12. It enables comparisons of expenditure on diabetes care with clinical outcomes for a selected CCG, other CCGs with similar populations and all other CCGs.

In a nutshell: The Spend and Outcome Factsheets and Tool (SPOT) has been updated to include Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) information.  The tool was developed to help commissioners link health outcomes and expenditure via programme budgeting, a well-established technique for assessing investment in programmes of care rather than services.  Respiratory diseases, including COPD, is one of the programme areas. OR: Endocrine, nutritional and metabolic is one of the programme areas.

In a nutshell: The DOVE spreadsheet tool allows users to compare expenditure on diabetes care with clinical outcomes for a selected PCT, other PCTs with similar populations and all other PCTs.  It has been updated to include 2010-2011 figures.

In a nutshell: The tool allows users to compare expenditure on diabetes care with clinical outcomes for a selected PCT and other PCTs. Spending on diabetes care can be compared to a number of outcomes and after selecting cost data, outcome measure and PCT, two charts are created. One chart shows spending in 2009/10 compared to outcomes in the same year. The other chart compares the change in spending to the change in outcomes between 2008/09 and 2009/10.
